Until 15 August, it is possible to apply for eXpression Design, a cross-county design programme based in Umeå and Örnsköldsvik. eXpression Design is aimed at designers, artisans and craftspeople who run businesses and want to develop a new product, create new collaborations and expand their network.

Through this project, we want to enable new local collaborations, give national visibility and create international contacts for the participants," says Barbro Renkel, business coach at eXpression Umeå.

eXpression Design will start on 23 September with 2-3 meetings per month from 23 September to 21 March 2021. The aim of the programme is to create more collaborations between the regions and strengthen the creative and cultural industries in the Sweden. Selection for the programme will take place through interviews in September. 

The programme is a collaboration between eXpression Umeå and the creative network High Coast Creative in Örnsköldsvik.Therefore, two parallel programmes will be organised, which will have some activities in common.As a participant, you will have access to a platform with lectures and workshops in the process from sketch to finished product on the market. 

The collaboration between our two parallel programmes allows for unique opportunities. Take advantage of the combined knowledge of the networks and exchange experiences, strengths and weaknesses," says Johanna Forsberg, responsible for eXpression Design Örnsköldsvik. Through the programmes you will have access to a wide network and both manufacturers and creators, benefit from the shared knowledge and be challenged to exchange experiences, strengths and weaknesses.
