AMAZON TO UMEÅ

AMAZON TO UMEÅ

eXpression invites you to a conversation with Anna Nordlander, an entrepreneur with years of experience building her business through Amazon. During the morning we will ask ourselves questions about what Amazon's entry into Sweden can mean for our city Umeå.

Anna Nordlander shares her experiences as CEO of the e-commerce company The Friendly Swede, a Swedish company that built its entire business model on the marketplace Amazon. Anna shows the way from starting the company and establishing it in Shenzhen, to growing it into a global organisation headquartered in Uppsala. Anna also shares her experiences and knowledge about how Amazon works and the single most important success factor on Amazon - customer focus.

The morning will be moderated by Annakarin Nyberg, programme manager for Future Retail Lab at eXpression.

About Anna Nordlander & The Friendly Swede
The Friendly Swede was founded by John Lundqvist in 2011 and was one of the first Swedish companies to sell physical products via Amazon.com. In early 2014, Anna Nordlander took over the role of CEO of the company and during her two years as CEO, Anna and her international team managed to more than double the company's turnover and enter several international markets. Since then, Anna has focused on helping other companies take their business to the next level, with a strong focus on Amazon and internationalization. Among other things, Anna was one of 14 official coaches for Amazon Germany's "Future Women Entrepreneurs 2018" program and is now considered one of Sweden's top experts on Amazon.
