It is now clear that the Umeå photographer and Nanny Ålander will direct and produce a short film about all love is good love. The film reflects a story that stretches from Nanny's grandmother's to the present day. Through a grant from Film i Västerbotten of 200 000 kr, the production will start in autumn 2020. 

The film is based on the photo exhibition "Forbidden Love", which was previously shown at Galleri Axel on Södermalm in Stockholm. The film reflects two women's love relationship and highlights the importance of being able to choose who you love. This despite a context and a spirit of the times when love of this kind was not accepted. 

The project is rooted in a desire for a paradigm shift that dissolves people's fear of the unfamiliar and unfamiliar into unconditional love and acceptance. It's about collective love - that we are all the same despite our differences," says Nanny.

Film i Västerbotten and Filmpool Nord grant support with the aim of enabling new collaborations and highlighting creators around the Västerbotten.

I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity and am working hard right now to put together the best possible team for my film," says Nanny.

Film i Västerbotten is a regional resource centre for film and moving images, whose mission is to support and broaden film culture in Västerbotten. It is part of Region Västerbotten.
