On Tuesday 22 October, eXpression and Future Retail Lab will visit Visby and hold a workshop with companies, experts and industry representatives. We will discuss the opportunities and challenges that digitalisation and globalisation bring to the future of retail.

The aim is to gain new perspectives and a better understanding of how companies should equip themselves for the future. We warmly welcome all stakeholders working with trade and urban development to an inspiring lecture and workshop led by Dr Elin Nilsson from HHUS, Umeå School of Economics. Breakfast will be served.

The Future Retail Lab programme is a joint venture with the Swedish Retail Federation via the Swedish Merchants' Association Foundation and is also part-financed by EU structural funds. In autumn 2019, a pilot will be carried out in Umeå, with a view to opening up the programme to national participation.
