On 2 July, Summer eXpression held an opening event in the entrance hall of the School of Architecture in Umeå, where participants showcased the products they had developed over the course of four weeks. Here you can view the photos, taken by John Sandin.

This year’s theme was transformation. Participants transformed textile waste streams into new products and circular concepts, with a focus on giving materials a new lease of life through design, function and craftsmanship.
