Two new companies enter the incubator

eXpression Umeå's incubator program Creatives has been expanded in the form of Anna Morén and Ängsfälla. Two examples that show the breadth and creative height of the innovation environment. Or how about a vodka flavoured with local birch sap and a transparent flower press?

Two new companies are now entering the incubator: Anna Morén, who creates the premium product Björkvodka, and the family business Ängsfälla, which sells a beautiful transparent flower compress of the same name.

Karin Holmberg, who is in charge of everything around Ängsfälla, a product designed by her daughter Elin, is seething with energy and confidence:

The whole family is involved: Elin Holmberg is behind the design of the flower press Ängsfälla, the business is mainly run by her mother Karin and the production is supported by her father Per. PHOTO: Private.

We look forward to being in a creative environment and meeting others with whom we can exchange knowledge and experiences. There is such strength in lifting each other up. We've already had our first meeting with our coach and it was really inspiring. I feel so happily pepped up," says Karin Holmberg from Ängsfälla.

Anna Morén is just getting started and has just had a successful first edition of her Björkvodka. The hard rock drummer and communicator taps her own birch sap and produces this much-loved premium vodka in collaboration with Tevsjödestilleri.

I applied to expression and Creatives because I knew that here I could get exactly the help I so badly needed to take my business forward, i.e.: coaching in product development, financing solutions, market analysis and much more. And it's a real pleasure to be part of this creative incubator, with all the nice people, inspiring environments and not least the great resources I have access to, such as the makerspace workshop," says Anna Morén.

In general, I want to learn more about entrepreneurship and all that it entails. It's a lot about getting guidance in setting up strategies and plans that lead to the development of the company. We hope to reach out to a wider market," concludes Karin Holmberg.
