Illustrator, ceramicist, goldsmith and an optician. These are four of the eleven participants in the latest edition of the eXpression Design \u00d6rnsk\u00f6ldsvik programme. With the help of the programme, the designers create new ways of working that open up international opportunities.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

eXpression Design is a programme aimed at established designers who want to develop a locally produced product and their entrepreneurship. The programme provides participants with the tools to make this a reality and thus strengthen the designers' profitability, ability to find new markets and develop local production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the programme, participants have initiated work on their new products and are currently in the prototype phase. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is exciting to follow the participants in the programme and many designers are trying new materials and areas compared to what they are used to. For example, Anna-Karin Rask Nygren, a ceramicist who previously produced everything herself, has started working with a local manufacturer. This opens up so many opportunities, including scaling up her business and reaching an international market,\" says Johanna Forsberg, programme manager for eXpression Design \u00d6rnsk\u00f6ldsvik.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

After the first part of the programme, designers have the opportunity to work further on the internationalisation track and prepare the company to become an attractive global partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
