On Friday 26 March, eXpression invites you to a discussion entitled \"The sustainable hospitality industry of the future\". The discussion will focus on the changing conditions for business support organisations in the tourism and experience sectors<\/strong> given ongoing coronary pandemic.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many companies, the past year has been one of major and transformative change. Not least in the hospitality and retail sectors, entrepreneurs have creatively, courageously and persistently navigated a situation where change seems to have been the only constant. New business models have emerged, new forms of collaboration have emerged and creative communication strategies have been developed. The year we are entering continues to demand creative change and resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the conversation about the future of sustainable tourism, the questions revolve around how we as part of the business support structures around these businesses are evolving and being challenged. What lessons do we take away from this turbulent year? What do these experiences tell us about our ability to create the conditions for businesses to develop and stand firm for the future?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion will be moderated by Annakarin Nyberg, Project Manager for the Sustainable Visitor Industry of the Future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conversation is part of the project Future Sustainable Hospitality Industry, which is being carried out at the business incubator eXpression Ume\u00e5. The project is part-funded by the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth through the initiative Knowledge Development in Coronpandemin.<\/em>

The discussion is an important part of an exchange of experience aimed at sharing knowledge and experiences on the changing conditions of companies and organisations during and after the corona pandemic. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the framework of the Sustainable Tourism of the Future project, various digital focus groups, moderated discussions and inspirational lectures will be conducted with different target groups, perspectives and issues. In this first session, we are addressing those who are part of a business and innovation support structure at, for example, a business incubator, a higher education institution, a destination company, a region or a municipality.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
