The three companies that can become the cultural and creative company of the year are Facit Bar, Turborilla and Mat &amp; Event Ume\u00e5.<\/strong> <strong>The prize is awarded by eXpression Ume\u00e5 in cooperation with the Ume\u00e5 Creative Industry Association.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The cultural and creative industries play an important role in Ume\u00e5's attractiveness and economic development. Therefore, it feels great to have the opportunity for the second year to recognize driven and skilled entrepreneurs. As usual, it has been difficult to select three finalists, but we see this as a sign of how strong the creative sector is in our region, says <strong>Barbro Renkel<\/strong>, CEO of eXpression Ume\u00e5 and chairman of the jury.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the three finalists together with the jury's motivation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Facit Bar<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"With a clear ambition to showcase Sweden's entire register and world-leading position in beverages, Facit Bar has truly put Ume\u00e5 on the cocktail map. Their creative concept of using only Swedish ingredients and influences ranges from cocktails, food and art to cultural events. Facit Bar's curiosity to constantly innovate drives the development of small-scale local food production, which enriches both the Swedish cultural heritage and Ume\u00e5's cultural life.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Turborilla<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"Turborilla has its feet firmly rooted in Ume\u00e5's game development mill while globally evolving into one of the greats in the action sports category. In recent years, they have worked actively to promote Ume\u00e5 and northern Sweden as an important hub for game development while driving the process for a more gender-equal industry. With a big heart for the digital craft, the company continues to create captivating experiences for enthusiastic audiences around the world.\"<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Food &amp; Event<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\"There's no escaping the passion and clear sustainability focus that drives the team behind Mat &amp; Event. By engaging large and small players from across the Ume\u00e5 region, they have succeeded in democratising gastronomic experiences for both the connoisseur and the curious.
