On 26 September, creatives and cultural practitioners gathered at Kajen in Väven cultural centre to participate in this year's edition of Join eXpression, organised by eXpression Umeå. The event celebrated creative and cultural initiatives from business, associations, academia and individual artists, who all contribute to challenging and developing Umeå.

The evening started with mingling among the creators and entrepreneurs who showcased their businesses on site followed by a lecture with SaraClaes Schmidt, inspirer, entrepreneur, and transgender person, who shared her experiences and challenged visitors' perceptions of norms. After the lecture, there was more mingling and a surprise in the form of a new circus performance by Kaaos Kaamos.

Later in the evening, the Brother John and Ann Jacobsson, both driving forces behind Powerpose FM, on stage for a conversation about how they create a space for the most progressive and groundbreaking in the Swedish music scene and the importance of long-term relationship building.

From start to finish played Maja Korpi music and participants from Prototype Week presented their innovative solutions to make Tvistevägen more inclusive and safe.
