Architects Kim Granberg and Johan Björn have

Architects Kim Granberg and Johan Björn, together with Generation Pepp, have developed a tailor-made walking track that both encourages students to move more and serves as an educational tool for improving eating habits. "We have created a playful and fun material for children that is easy for educators to use in everyday life," says Johan Björn.MURAL Architecture's new walking track is part of Generation Pepp's initiative to promote better eating habits among primary school children. The initiative relates to the Nordic nutritional recommendations that all children should eat at least 400-500 grams of fruit, vegetables and berries per day.The collaboration has involved extensive preparatory work, with six schools serving as references when designing the track. This spring, it will be made available for the first time to schools around the country. "We were really pleased when Generation Pepp got in touch and wanted to create a collaboration. Our values of physical activity combined with simplicity and joy are in line with what they want to achieve," says Johan Björn and continues. "We wanted to create something that was accessible and easy to use. We have tried to combine the recommendations of 400-500 grams of fruit and vegetables per day with our own concept.The fact that MURAL Arkitektur is now hooking up with Generation Pepp and launching the new movement track means that schools can purchase the product at a favourable price. - We know that schools don't have a lot of money, so it feels like a good thing to be able to offer this through Generation Pepp," concludes Johan Björn.

Markus Larsson has been running Creative Concrete for a few years and is currently one of the participants in eXpression Design. He likes the idea of mixing old and new and sees opportunities when others see scrap. Meet Markus in the middle of the process of the business development programme, which ends with a vernissage in May.🌟Tell me about your business and your creativity: - It so happened that we were missing a number of kerbstones for our driveway, so I thought: "I'll make my own!" And while I was at it, I made some concrete benches. That's when I realised I like the grey and robustness of concrete. Then I floated the idea of starting my own business with a friend who is an accountant. From there, my creativity has grown and I've also started to dabble in other types of materials. 🌟 How would you describe your creative expression? - I like the idea of mixing what is old with what is new. A bit like the show "New Old" that was on TV in the 70s and 80s. I guess I'm not a junkie exactly, but I try to see a potential in what others see as junk. Then, over the years, I've become more interested in design and curious about different expressions. Now I'm thinking of adding "Design" to my company name.Read the full interview on our website. For me it has always been natural to use nature and be inspired by the natural. EXPRESSION DESIGN. Stina Carlsson's father started a fine carpentry business and before that her grandfather started a furniture store. Now it's finally her time to turn her own furniture sketches into reality and go from idea to reality.⭐ TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR CREATIVITY- I always said I would never be self-employed! But both furniture design and the desire to start my own business are in my blood. With my grandfather as a great role model, who was an entrepreneur to the core, and a father who is a trained cabinetmaker, it now feels natural that I am exactly where I am today.🙌 WHAT MADE YOU TAKE THE LEAP?- I have long wished that I would dare to take the step to break my safe everyday life as a preschool teacher and go for something more creative and free. I came into contact with eXpression Design and took the courage to apply. eXpression Design is the starting point for me and my business and I am so happy to have had this opportunity. 🎯 WHAT IS YOUR GOAL?- What I want with my business is to have more time to be creative. To develop in design. Where exactly I will end up remains to be seen, and that's what's so exciting and inspiring. 🎨 SPEAKING OF INSPO. WHAT INSPIRES YOU?- I am inspired by the northern nature, experiences and emotions. ℹ️ There is a launch coming up in May where all participants in eXpression Design will showcase the objects they have worked on during the programme.👀 CAN YOU GIVE ANY GUIDANCE ABOUT WHAT WE WILL SEE IN MAY?- You will see a piece of furniture, with organic and timeless design. The material I use in my product comes from a local environmentally certified forestry. The inspiration for the furniture comes from my love of the forest and from a small green pond hidden deep in the forests of northern Sweden.⭐ WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GET OUT OF YOUR PRODUCT?- I hope that my product can be an eye-catcher in the room. That it will convey a sense of calm and give an impression of Norrland.
