On Friday 4 Sep we will broadcast the last live event of the Design Week - and what a finale it will be. A collection of nationally recognised experts will delve into the importance of the physical workshop (makerspaces) and tactile creation, culminating in a unique show. Participants include Thomas DegnUID, Marlene Johansson, eXpression, Ambra TrottoRISE, Clemens Thornqvist, Borås Textile College, Madelen BodinCuriosum, Åsa Jeansson, aesthetic subjects, Maria Östensson, Östensson's Design Studio. The conversation is led by Lotta Ahlvar, Chairman of Swedish Design.
The event ends with Umeå's pride Jögge Sundqvist, former rock musician and long-time full-time woodworker, who weaves to rock music in a unique show.
