On Wednesday 17 May, participants in the Creatives incubator programme were given the opportunity to participate in a workshop on social media. The workshop was led by Pontus Bäckman from Digipartner & Jo Kommunikation. Before the meeting, the participants had to prepare themselves by reflecting on the purpose of being active in social media, which target group they want to reach, why and how. The workshop focused on Facebook, Instagram and Linkedin from a technical and sociotechnical perspective.
Social channels have become an increasingly important tool for many businesses to reach their target audience and succeed in branding and sales. But for whom are we creating activity and why? Do we know our target groups, their demographics and geography? What is our goal and what is our purpose for being in the different channels?
During the workshop, participants were guided through the different platforms to get a better idea of who is currently using each channel, and how best to work with their feeds to get interaction and conversion. The participants also got to see the different planning, analysis and advertising tools available to create structure in the work with the social channels.
In the near future, all companies that participated in the workshop will be given the opportunity to follow up individually with Pontus Bäckman from Digipartner.
I will take the opportunity to discuss the relevance of the posts I am making today," says Anna Sundström Lindmark.
Anna is developing a digital writing course on healing writing during the programme. The course will be launched on Anna's channels in autumn 2023.
