On 28 August, Marlene Johansson, CEO of eXpression Umeå, and Annakarin Nyberg, programme manager of the Future Retail Lab accelerator programme, spoke about retail as part of urban development. Johansson and Nyberg highlighted the importance of bringing different perspectives together and talked about how the accelerator programme has created the conditions for owner-operated companies to meet new entrepreneurs, property owners, city centre developers and other key stakeholders in retail and urban development.
