Do you want to help create places that inspire creativity and contribute to happiness and well-being? This spring, you have the chance to take part in a free business development programme where experts will help you sharpen your skills - while laying the foundations for new concepts for central Umeå.
- This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to positive social development with Umeå's young people in focus. We are looking for you who are creative in everything from design, architecture and design to music, media and performing arts who want to develop as an entrepreneur, says Marlene Johansson, researcher and project manager at RISE.
Together, eXpression Umeå and RISE invite you to an inclusive design process, led by experts from different fields.
In this new business development programme, you will work with a concrete case: the Utopia neighbourhood and the streets towards Vasaplan, Rådhustorget and Vasagatan. The programme is based on young people's experiences and visions of what creates an inclusive, safe and creative place.
The aim is to provide you with valuable knowledge, practical experience and new insights that will strengthen your entrepreneurship, while giving you the opportunity to contribute to Umeå's development.
The programme includes lectures, workshops, coaching, expert support, networking and concept development - all free of charge.
