On Wednesday 5 October, eXpression Umeå opened its doors and invited you to an open house. Around 80 visitors were able to enjoy live music performed by Nathalie Lindqvist, an inspirational lecture by Jessica W Sandberg and meet entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries. The prototype workshops in the building were also open for visitors to discover and explore.

The afternoon began with a performance by Nathalie Lindqvist - artist and songwriter. Among other things, Nathalie sang her debut single "Hela tiden". Listen to the song here

"Without courage, you are just a glass of buttermilk"

Jessica W Sandberg who runs the company Besvärlig since 1977 and is one of Sweden's most renowned and successful communicators, held a stirring inspirational lecture entitled "Without courage, you are just a glass of buttermilk". She showed how courage and awkwardness are crucial to breaking through in the media noise, but also what the opposite, silence, costs.

During the afternoon, visitors could also walk around and meet entrepreneurs and visit the prototype workshops that were kept open and available in the building.
