Now eXpression Umeå, together with all the creators and companies, has moved back to the Arts Campus.

After a year at Tullkammaren, eXpression Umeå has now moved back to newly renovated premises at the Arts Campus. The location opens up for more collaborations through proximity to students, researchers and teachers at the School of Design, School of Art and School of Architecture and upgraded and larger workshops and studios for digital production.

We are now back in our fantastic premises in Curiosum and the campus for the artistic activities where we and our entrepreneurs will have close access to the prototype lab and studios for their creation. Here, companies in design, architecture, art, fashion, music, film and media develop in a strong community that characterizes eXpression as a business incubator, says Marlene Johansson, CEO, eXpression Umeå.

The Arts Campus is located by the Ume River, near central Umeå, and is a creative and inspiring environment for education in architecture, design and art. It is also home to the university's own museum - the Bildmuseet, as well as the newly formed Curiosum with workshops and a new cathedral theatre for planetarium performances and other immersive visual experiences.

Together with Curiosum, eXpression Umeå will be an important place for interaction with the business community and the university, providing space to inspire and be inspired and enabling the development of entrepreneurs in the artistic and creative industries.
