Join eXpression challenges both norms and ceiling height

Join eXpression challenges both norms and ceiling height

On 26 September, it's time for this year's edition of Join eXpression - an event that celebrates art, culture and creativity in Umeå. This year we're moving down to Kajen, in Väven, for a full evening of the city's funniest people to network with, a challenging lecture and flying performances. We're also celebrating 10 years - don't miss out!

We want Join to be a meeting place that both celebrates the creative sector and helps to develop it. This year we are taking clear steps forward with a broader programme, more guests and a new venue," says Amanda Westin, who is one of the project leaders behind the event.

We are really excited to SaraClaes Schmidt will come up and challenge us. A well-known entrepreneur and speaker who will talk about breaking norms and thinking bigger. We will also have the chance to listen to Brother John and Ann Jacobsson highlighting the importance of growing through passion-driven entrepreneurship - based on their journey with the Powerpose FM music festival.

In the middle of the mingling, the quay will be filled with interesting companies from the incubator and among the exhibition tables we will also have the opportunity to take part in the ideas developed during Prototype Week.

To top it all off, the circus company has Kaaos Kaamos promised to challenge the ceiling height. It will be exciting to say the least.

Behind the DJ booth, we will have a fond reunion in Maja Korpi. Which guarantees a great atmosphere!

Date: Thursday 26 September
Time: 18:00 - 21:00
Location: Väven, Quayside
