No other Swedish fashion designer has ever made it as far as Lars Nilsson. He has come to be respected by the greatest and has taken a natural place in the finest rooms, not least in Paris and New York. On Monday, Lars will visit eXpression Umeå for an exclusive inspirational lecture.
Very few people have made it and become respected in France's inner fashion circle, but one who has succeeded is Lars Nilsson. Not only has he been respected for his style, but he has also mastered the noblest form of sewing, haute couture.
After graduating from the fashionable Paris Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne in France, Lars has worked for a number of renowned fashion houses, including Chanel, Christian Lacroix, Dior, Nina Ricci, Bill Blass, Ralp Lauren and Balmain.
Lars Nilsson has received several awards and recognitions for his work over the years and has recently designed several interior and textile collections for Svenskt Tenn, Vandra Rugs and Hästens, among others.
On Monday 16 August between 12:00-13:00 you have the opportunity to listen to a digital inspiration lecture with one of Sweden's leading fashion designers. The event will be broadcast via eXpression Umeå's Facebook page.
A limited number of participants will be available. The lecture will end with a Q&A session.
