The Sámi Grand Prix is one of the most prominent music competitions organised in Sápmi. This year it will be broadcast live from Kautokeino, Norway, which is known for its unique combination of modern music and traditional Sámi singing and joik. A total of 12 entries in one of the 10 Sámi languages are participating.
"It's nice that the media has chosen a different angle in the reporting for this year's Sami Grand Prix.
