Prototype Week

This August, your ideas could change the way Umeå is connected. Seven days, one mission and a chance to make an impact on the region's sustainable development.

We are now looking for students and creatives with an interest in sustainable mobility!

The green transition is transforming the Umeå region – new industrial areas and jobs are emerging, but how do people get there and how do they get around the area? Over seven days in August, you’ll work in cross-disciplinary teams to explore and prototype sustainable mobility solutions around the Umeå Eco Industrial Park (Dåva).

This year's mission: smart ways to connect city and industry. We are looking for solutions that:

Making commuting to the industrial parks of the future easy and sustainable
Are accessible and improve the quality of life for those living and working in the region
Has potential to become reality within 2-5 years

A more detailed letter will be sent out after the admission decision.
