BRILLIERA - THE SOFT GAME - TAKES PLACE AT THE GAME FAIR

BRILLIERA - THE SOFT GAME - TAKES PLACE AT THE GAME FAIR

During the days 30 May - 1 June, BRILJERA will participate at Nordsken in Skellefteå, the largest gaming fair in northern Scandinavia. BRILJERA, which is a soft game where the individual is encouraged to be himself, is a given but unique exhibitor on site during the days.

We have met the creator Anetté Sjöbacka, the creator of BRILJERA and soon to move in at eXpression Umeå. She has been working for several years to make people feel seen, heard and valuable just as they are. Based on her experiences and encounters with people, she has chosen to develop the game BRILJERA.

BRILJERA wants you to have the opportunity to listen to your thoughts, follow your feelings and act on your abilities together with others. The environment is part of the game, which means that different environments provide the opportunity to invent new things.

-"A small game with great content for many unique occasions, for everyone in the family and that engages everyone who participates, all the time," says Anetté.

She continues:

-You, the other participants and the environment are the three physical attributes that form the basis of the unique game event.

How does it feel to be there and participate in Nordsken?

-It feels really fun, exciting and a bit scary at the same time. BRILJERA is ready to be seen in such a context. Here we go!

What do you hope to get out of the fair?

-"I hope it will be fun, meet many interesting and exciting people and that these unique meetings will lead to BRILJERA starting to make an impact on others, by giving them the opportunity to influence and influence the development of BRILJERA. I want this opportunity to spark curiosity in the people I meet.

How have you prepared?

-I have prepared myself by planning different activities for my visitors. For example, people will be able to draw and write their own cards for BRILJERA and I have a working overall that I will wear and use instead of the traditional rollup, where visitors will be able to paint their own head shots and emotions. I've also planned for visitors to be able to send greetings in the form of postcards to loved ones," Anette says and continues:

-The head wing plays a central role in BRILJERA, simply and clearly portraying the emotions and body language associated with our thoughts and actions. It is close to our emotions and is a symbol of the child in us.

Why do we need a game like Brilliera?

-I don't want to risk that this game doesn't exist - that's my big motivation - to create a game that is an alternative for time together - where the desire is that the game time is equally engaging for everyone who plays, all the time. How exciting, fun, creative, imaginative, emotional the playtime is will be up to those who play.

How does Briljera contribute to the sustainability of the society we live in today?

- What if our time is consumed by gadgets, owning and doing instead of time with ourselves, our thoughts and feelings, what if we miss our loved ones because we are not there for each other. Hopefully by BRILLIANTLY allowing ourselves to see clearly and prioritise correctly. If we become calmer, more secure and more content with the time in our lives, then I believe we consume less of the earth's resources.

Since 2012, Nordsken has been a meeting place for everyone who loves games, culture and creativity. A festival with creativity at its heart where participants are inspired, motivated and activated.
