SISTERS IN LAW WINS SECOND PRIZE FOR BUSINESS IDEA AND POTENTIAL GROWTH

They are awarded as Northern Sweden's most exciting female-led company - Sisters in Law takes home second place in the Connect North Women competition for their business idea and potential growth.

On Thursday, investors and other experts gathered to meet and evaluate northern Sweden's most exciting female-led capital-seeking companies. Sisters in Law was one of the companies voted and took second place in the competition.

The audience and the jury were asked to vote for each company on a scale of 1-10 on how much potential for growth we have. So many people believed in our idea, our venture and us as entrepreneurs, which feels great, says Zanna Metzer.

Connect North Women is the meeting place where capital-seeking women entrepreneurs meet investors and other experts for their business development. Connect North Women is cross-sectoral. Extra focus is put on companies in the environment/energy sector. Priority is given to companies based in Norrland, but companies from other parts of Sweden and the Nordic countries can also participate. The capital requirement may be SEK 1 million or more.

Sisters in Law was launched in November 2015 and is now one of Sweden's largest wedding blogs with around 17,000 unique readers every month. The focus is on bohemian elegance and creativity, and they want to inspire people to take their eyes off the traditional and what they "should do" and instead look at what is most personal.
