Creatives companies summarise and look to the future

The companies at eXpression are bustling with activity as the spring's work is summed up and analysed, while eyes are raised for the time after the summer and the holidays. The participants in the Creatives incubator programme have now completed seven workshops and note that the first six months have been intense, challenging and stimulating.

In spring 2023, the new Creatives was launched, where one of the major changes has been that 16 accepted companies have followed each other and taken on the programme's workshops together. The ambition has been to increase the community among the participants and also to create new conditions for them to learn from each other. This, according to Jonas Spolander CEO at Föreningsfrämjandethas been both valuable and stimulating.

What I really appreciate is being able to participate in a creative and educational context. It has given me new insights and knowledge, which has ultimately provided good input for my business," he says. Jonas Spolander.

June is often a hectic period in many organisations, while the longing for holidays grows ever stronger. And in the midst of all this intensity, it is also important to look ahead and plan for the time after the holiday so that the return to work has both contours and content. Sophie Zetterberg and Johan Öhrlund, founder of the design studio grumpy, is currently spending a lot of time planning so that the holidays can provide rest and distance from work.

It has been full speed during the spring and the first time in the incubator programme! Right now we're preparing for the holidays, but we're also planning the campaigns that will run in the autumn. We want to feel that we are in control of the situation in order to be able to land running after the holidays. We feel an enormous amount of enthusiasm right now, says Sophie Zetterberg and Johan Öhrlund.

The next activity in the Creatives incubator programme will take place on 22 and 23 August, when the companies do a check-in. Together with the business coaches at eXpression, the companies summarise their development during the programme, look ahead and make a plan for the next six months. This is to ensure that they get the right conditions in the business development offered at eXpression Umeå.
