On 22-24 November, Arctic Game Dev Umeå will be held for the first time in the city, and eXpression is a proud partner. The event aims to strengthen the community and network around game development and support both large and small game studios. The international accelerator Global Top Round (GTR) is also involved as a facilitator.
Umeå was early to establish itself as a game development city. Now it feels like we are in a time where more and more initiatives are bringing together important actors to pull in the same direction, from indie developers, established companies to business developers and the surrounding support system. Within the framework of Arctic Game Dev, on the evening of 23 November, the Female Meetup will also be arranged. This is an event for women, non-binary and LGBTQIA+ people involved in the games industry, and those who aspire to be part of it. The Female Meetup requires a separate registration.
