Pricing is influenced by several factors. What traps are you likely to fall into and what tools do you need to create value in what you sell? What does the customer value and what is he or she willing to pay for? How do you make your product or service feel worth the price?
The speaker and our guide in the pricing jungle is Maria Österåker, a doctor of economics from Finnish Ostrobothnia, who encourages cultural entrepreneurs and small business owners to charge, to dare to stand out and to think in new ways. Her motto is that it's better to be able to live than just to survive.
The basis for the lecture is Maria's book "Charge! - Pricing for creative industries". The book was nominated for Marketing Book of the Year in Sweden in 2010.
