Here are this year's winners!
Solar Literacy by Anna Puchalska, MFA Interaction Design.
The internet is rapidly growing in complexity and has an increasingly negative environmental and societal impact. While heating and lighting are concrete examples of energy consumption, internet use is not perceived in the same way. Glow OS is an operating system that enables individuals and communities to customise online activities with intermittent solar power to accelerate the transition to a fossil fuel-free internet.
Live by Jovan Vulic, MFA Advanced Product Design
Liv is a labour/pre-labour training solution designed to train both midwives and non-medical staff in refugee camps. The concept reveals what happens inside the birth canal during the training to give the user a better understanding of what it takes to conduct a successful birth.
