TIMELESS CULTURAL HERITAGE DRIVES NEW INNOVATION

TIMELESS CULTURAL HERITAGE DRIVES NEW INNOVATION

The second round of the popular cultural heritage programme is now underway. In the business development programme, entrepreneurs increase their knowledge of sustainable design principles and learn ways to harness the power of the West of Scotland's cultural heritage. The initiative is a collaboration between eXpression, RISE and Västerbotten Museum.

It feels incredibly inspiring to be starting the autumn round. A great bunch of entrepreneurs from different sectors related to cultural heritage. The mix in the group is a strength, it helps the participants to give each other new perspectives and share experiences, says Fanny Lindén, Programme Officer for the Cultural Heritage Programme.

The programme is based on the cultural heritage of Western Sweden. Through digitalisation, design skills and innovation development, the aim is to strengthen sustainable growth and innovation in cultural and creative industries in Upper Norrland. The aim is also to highlight the stories of these creators and their creative processes.

The cultural heritage programme is part of the Creatives for Longevity project run by eXpression and RISE, and Västerbotten Museum is also a partner in the project. The programme runs from 20 October to 2 March.
