The results of this year's Proto Type Week 2024 are now available.
At the end of the summer, a group of design and architecture students and entrepreneurs were given the opportunity to contribute to a safer and more inclusive Tvistevägen in Umeå.
Over the course of seven working days, they went from the first idea sketch to the presentation of a finished prototype. The initiative took place in collaboration with Umeå Energi, Campus X and LF Västerbotten.
The process was based on design thinking methods and included everything from idea generation and team building to interviews with relevant stakeholders. The aim was to develop innovative and feasible solutions to the challenges presented at the beginning of the week.
Prototype Week provided an opportunity for participants to work hands-on with the design process and gain valuable experience in taking an idea from concept to prototype.
