See the pictures from the Prototype Week Vernissage

On Friday 29 August, participants, partners and the public gathered at Kvarteret Utopia for the final presentation and opening of Prototype Week 2025.

- These have been intense but above all fun days. It's really impressive to see the prototypes that have been developed in such a short time," says Fanny Lindén, who led the project together with Frida Wimelius.

Prototype Week is a format developed by eXpression Umeå to quickly take ideas from concept to testable prototype.

For seven days, participants work in multidisciplinary teams with designers, business coaches and experts. The aim has been to develop possible solutions that can contribute to a safer and more inclusive Umeå.

The results of the groups are currently being compiled and will be presented shortly. But you can already see the pictures from the opening.

This summer's Prototype Week was organised in collaboration with Ultra, UPAB and Baltic Group, all of whom contributed with both challenges and support during the week. The European Development Fund is also a funder.
