Young Startup Day brings together over 800 students and young entrepreneurs

Young Startup Day is being organised today in a packed Väven in Umeå. The aim is to inspire and encourage young entrepreneurs in the region to want and dare to invest in their business idea. During the event, the winners of the regional JA championships will also be announced.

More than 400 people will be watching Young Startup Day 2023 from a seated position and at least as many on a link. The event is organised for the seventh year in a row and the entire programme can be followed live via Young Enterprise's YouTube channel.

On stage are, among others Siduri Poli, an award-winning serial entrepreneur, investor and author who is passionate about innovation, tech and democracy.

In the evening, the County Governor invites you to a mingle dinner at the County Residence where the Young Startup Award is presented - a prize established by BIC Factory and Uminova Innovation and sponsored by Aptum (now Presto).

Young Startup Day is organised by Ung företagsamhet, Länsstyrelsen, Umeå municipality, BIC Factory, Uminova Innovation, Presto and eXpression Umeå.
