Yesterday Thursday was the opening for Umeå Fashion Week and several designers from eXpression Umeå were on site to showcase their products.

It was Lotta Ahlvar, project manager for Stockholmsmässan, who had the honour of opening Umeå Fashion Week from the stage set up on Utopia Square before handing over to fashion designer Catharina Carlsson, founder of Hattstudion.
Catharina talked about some of her work and the support available to the public and established designers at Sliperiet and through eXpression.

During the day, the public had the opportunity to meet all the designers and buy their products.
