Experiences and lessons learned during the pandemic

On 18 November, eXpression Umeå invites you to a discussion on the sustainable hospitality and trade of the future. The discussion will focus on the lessons and experiences we take away from the pandemic period, but also on the new times we are facing when it is once again possible to meet.

Participating in the conversation Peter Juneblad, business manager Umeå municipality, Annika Sandström, regional tourism manager Västerbotten Region, Gabriella Hed Vall, VD Visit Umeå, Cecilia Lindström, VD The iron stove's food stall and centre developer Piteå and Jörgen Engdahl, restaurateurs and owners of Hunger and Thirst, Harlequin and Facit Bar. The conversation is moderated by Annakarin Nyberg, Project Manager for the Sustainable Tourism and Trade of the Future.

The project Sustainable tourism of the future and trade, conducted at the eXpression business incubator in Umeå, has been working for two years to disseminate and share experiences of what the pandemic has meant for both businesses and business promoters in northern Sweden. Now, by inviting representatives from the region, municipality, destination and companies to a conversation, we want to discuss and share lessons and experiences.

To participate in the call at Rex in Umeå, please register here.

For those who want to participate digitally, the call is streamed via eXpression Umeås facebook.
