LIVE: What will the future of textile production look like?

On 7 December, NEST Sweden will broadcast live from the Textile Fashion Center in Borås. The topic is the sustainable textile industry of the future and during the event a panel of experts will discuss what sustainability means for a fashion industry that is facing major challenges. 

The panel includes Lovisa Nolander and Linnéa Magnusdotter, XV Production, Jonas Larsson, Science Park Borås and the Swedish School of Textiles, Cecilia Tall, RE:Source, Mathias Bräck, Science Park Borås and the discussion will be moderated by Simon Hjelte, Borås INK.

In conjunction with the event, the application opens to NEST bootcamp - two intensive days of workshops, lectures and networking on 16-17 March. The bootcamp is aimed at those who have a business idea in the textile and fashion industry.

The live screening, which takes place when the application opens, is organised by Borås INK, one of the four incubators that started the initiative to drive the development of a sustainable textile industry. The other incubators are eXpression Umeå, Sting and X-Plot.
