Over 800 000 SEK for entrepreneurs in the incubator

On Wednesday, the Swedish Arts Council announced which actors will receive the restart grant. In total, around 2,000 applications and projects for children and young people were submitted, with the public meeting standing out among the applications granted. Among the approved applications are three companies participating in the eXpressions incubator programme Creatives, Mural, Kaaos Kaamos and Magda Andersson.

Granted projects

Mural

Together with RF SISU Västerbotten and a number of student groups in Västerbotten we will
further develop the concept of Rörelsebanan with the aim of increasing everyday exercise for pupils and increasing
the cultural and aesthetic quality of school environments.

Kaaos Kaamos

With the restart grant, we will start more new circus courses at both basic and advanced level, as well as stage our new show in the region. We want more people to experience new circus, both as audience and performers, and at the same time establish Kaaos Kaamos as Umeå's new circus company.

Magda Andersson

Has been awarded a grant for the concert series Hide and Seek, a hide-and-seek-inspired live music concept where the audience is given coordinates to find the concert venue after buying a ticket. Magda hopes to reach concert-goers who want to experience concerts in a new way where culture and nature meet.
